It is doing great for the healing part, its not that red or anything at all. But I am probably going to go in the ocean a bunch and I heard that salt water is good for it, I clean it with salt water 2wice a day and I was wondering if the ocean is fine since its salt water. Helpppp????

the ocean isnt a giant sea salt soak. there are alot of microrganisims, bacteria and run off in it. especially when it rains. trust me i love the ocean, but it is not good for an open wound when you you are trying to let your skin adjust to the jewlery. it will reject painfully. i live at the beach so i chose to get mine pierced over the winter. i waited a full 3 months before i got in to ocean and even then i admit it was not fully healed. i really suggest trying to wait atleast 2 months before getting in the ocean. atleast 3 before getting in a pool (they are even worse because of cholrine)
