Do you buy the new Tickle Me Elmo is a big investment in a collectible?
This toy is a great time and wanted me to know what we all think about buying one and keep it as a collector's item for sale in the next 20-40 years from now. There are better things you can do with your money over the next 20 years. Only buy if you really want a kid elmo. You may be too young to remember last Tickle Me Elmo craze. Women trampling each other to get one. Talk about stupid. Remember the pet rock phase? Rock you collectors? The market Barbies and BD etc is very limited. Do not just walk to the edge of the street and say here I have a barbie for sale. Ebay is a place to sell. Conventions, etc. However, you get a better return on investment for as much money if you go elsewhere. Look to the growth and liquidity. I have baseball cards are worth something. The problem is that I can not find a buyer. So I gave my son. He played with them. They are about worthless now, but if I can not find a buyer when worthless then too. As part of your local power company and let me know what your value to 20 to 40 years. I bet they do better. Just to be on the side sure to get one of each and me and let me know what is best developed. I bet your electric company.

The Kelly Capital Growth Investment Criterion $127 This volume provides the definitive treatment of fortune's formula or the Kelly capital growth criterion as it is often called. The strategy is to maximize long run wealth of the investor by maximizing the period by period expected utility of wealth with a logarithmic utility function. Mathematical theorems show that only the log utility function maximizes asymptotic long run wealth and minimizes the expected time to arbitrary large goals. In general, the strategy is risky in the short term but as the number of bets increase, the Kelly bettor's wealth tends to be much larger than those with essentially different strategies.
